Artichoke Hearts with Iberian Ham

In this recipe, we show you how to combine them with Ibérico ham to prepare a quick, healthy dish full of Mediterranean nuances. Perfect for surprising with an elegant tapa or accompanying a special meal.
Ingredients:
- - 1 can of Natural Artichoke Hearts 1st 10/12 Conservas Almanaque.
- - 80 g of Ibérico ham in small cubes or shavings, like a Joselito Gran Reserva 4.5–5 kg/piece.
- - 2 tablespoons of 1881 Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 500 ml Frasca.
- - 1 garlic clove (optional)
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - Juice of half a lemon (optional)
- - Chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation method:
- Drain the artichokes and gently pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- In a skillet, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Lightly brown.
- Incorporate the artichoke hearts and sauté for 3–4 minutes until golden.
- Add the Ibérico ham and stir for a few seconds, just enough to release its aroma without drying out.
- Adjust with salt and pepper, and add a touch of lemon juice if you desire a fresher flavor.
- Serve hot, sprinkling chopped parsley on top.
Chef's tip:
If you want to elevate the dish even more, accompany it with a truffled egg yolk, a goat cheese cream, or even a couple of potatoes to accompany.
