Iberian acorn-fed ham comes from 100% Iberian pigs raised freely and fed in the montanera with acorns and herbs, for at least the last 6 months of their life. They are identified by having the black label. It is considered the highest quality ham, with infiltrated fat. The curing period for these hams is:

  • For hams weighing less than 7 Kg: a minimum of 20 months
  • For hams weighing 7 Kg or more: a minimum of 24 months
