Garnachas Project The Wild Garnacha of Moncayo 75cl

The Wild Garnacha of Moncayo 75 cl is a red wine from Bodegas Proyecto Garnachas de España (Vintae group), made with 100% Garnacha grapes from old vineyards grown on the slopes of Moncayo, between the denominations of origin Campo de Borja and Calatayud. This wine pays homage to the purest and wildest Garnacha from the northeast of Spain.

The vineyards are located at over 800 meters above sea level on poor, rocky soils, where the vines express all their character. The vinification is done traditionally, with a partial aging in French oak barrels for 5 months, which adds complexity without losing its natural freshness.

With a bright cherry red color, the nose highlights aromas of ripe red fruit, raspberry, strawberry, and light floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is balanced, juicy, and with soft tannins. Its finish is long and persistent, with notes of fruit and minerality.
